LITIGATION	Mr. Jones represents beneficiaries and fiduciaries in will, trust and guardianship contests as well as fiduciary litigation. He generally works not only on an hourly basis but will act on a contingent fee basis in some matters.
ESTATE PLANNING	Mr. Jones assists in the planning of wealth transfer including considerations of taxes, creditors, as well as the circumstances of the beneficiaries.
ADMINISTRATION	Mr. Jones regularly oversees the probate and administration of wills. He also assists trustees and guardians in administering those estates including tax issues as well as compliance with Texas law and the governing instrument.
TAXES	In conjunction with his work in litigation, estate planning and administration, Mr. Jones advises on estate, gift and generation skipping taxes. He also prepares estate, gift and generation skipping tax returns.
EXPERT WITNESS	Mr. Jones serves as an expert witness in probate, trust and guardianship litigation.
CONSULTATION	Mr. Jones is available to attorneys for consultation on probate, trust and guardianship matters.
CO-COUNSEL	Mr. Jones has served as co-counsel to attorneys in probate courts. This ranges from advising a lawyer about a troublesome issue to appearing in court with the attorney. On numerous occasions Mr. Jones has assisted personal injury attorneys when their clients claims are pressed through a guardianship or a decedent’s estate.
